While it’s a great view, we didn’t expect to be in the hospital today. But the right top of Tim’s lung is still a bit “flat,” so the Dr chose to leave the suction tube in one more day. (Tim says it feels like he has a chicken bone stuck in his lung–not good!)
However, the initial reports coming in from the pathologist are great news; it’s not Hodgkin’s! The BIG question of “what is it?” is still unknown.
So…while things are still out of our control, this is the day the LORD has made, and His love endures forever!
God is good all the time; it’s a matter of trust.

Hi Rock Star and Mom… lol..I could not wait I had to check and see what is going on.. talk to Dave this a.m. he looks good as always.. Missionary time was great too.. want to share some good news Daivd Doty and family have been coming the last two weeks… God is good in deed…keep praying hearts need to change don’t they… well enjoy the veiw and get the chicken bone out.. and get on the road kid..our. rock star has things to do…lol.. love and prayers…
Tim – Judy says she knows what you’re talking about (the chicken bone), and we’re both praying for you…several people (whom we don’t even know their names) and Pastor Tom came up to this morning and asked how your surgery went…they’re praying, too!
We received just over 6″ of snow in less than 6 hours overnight (I imagine Ronna’s received closer to a foot, and Susie’s received between 12-18″) … wild snow blast came from the NW, and our house was the southern tip of the swirl…needless to say – and in Olympic style – I was out early going for the gold in “speed snow-shoveling.” As I was the only contestant from the US on my block (the only one up at 5:30am), I easily defended my Olympic record! So, you are the ROCK STAR, I am the snow man!
I’ll be in Seattle tomorrow night…not sure what time is “too late,” but will call your mom to see what’s going on…
Love you all…praying for you all, and wishing we could carry your burden and pain, instead of you !!!
Mike & Judy
Tim,
We were glad to hear the news! One day at a time.
You have been and will be in our prayers until we can rejoice at having you home again.
We love you and your family,
Gary & Ginny
Phyllis – Thanks for another update! Praying that Tim will heal quickly from this and go “home” soon! Praise God for His great works!
Just checkin’ in. Our pastor preached out of Haggai this morning…can’t say I ever remember a sermon from that text before today, but it was good. The temple needed to be rebuilt and the people had gotten a little “off task” – Haggai redirected them and admonished them with “the Lord’s message.”
Now Tim, your situation isn’t exactly the same, but there is going to be some rebuilding goin’ on, when this lung issue is resolved, and I can’t help but see a small correlation here.
Here’s some of what Haggai said, “Take courage, says the LORD…Take courage…for I am with you…My Spirit abides among you; fear not. ”
Aren’t those great words, full of comfort and hope?
Good Morning once again.. just checking in to see if the Rock Star has left the Building?
You have a great day it is sunny in Idaho today…love those days..spring is coming my flowers are starting to come up…new life begins..
Keep look up and see you on the Web….
Love and Prayers
Still in the hospital ???
My – we thought this was going to be a MINOR step so you could continue on with the next MAJOR step?!
WONDERFUL news that the tumor is not Hodkins – we are THRILLED to hear this news!! The Lord is indeed directing this orchestra……
I’ll be sending you some pictures of winter that has come back to Northern Nevada. Nate & the girls LOVED boarding on the fresh powder. You’ll see that we got 2 feet in our driveway…… Nate did NOT love the shoveling!
We Love & Miss You,
Ronna & family
Tim-Just to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers daily. We were just in Dallas to see Brad and family and you were added to their prayer list. This is just one step at a time and sometimes a detour is added. We wish you the very best and hope that you are able to leave the hospital today. Love Bill and Karen
